Hardware Requirements
- We reserve the right to exclude support for devices older than 5 years under our Agreement.
- PCs must either be 5 years old or less and covered by an extended warranty/supported by the vendor.
- PCs should feature at least an Intel Core i5 CPU (or equivalent), 8 GB of RAM, and a 250GB Solid State Drive.
- A 3-year warranty with on-site parts and labour, featuring a Next Business Day response where applicable, is required.
- Servers must have an active warranty covering on-site labour, replacement parts, and a Next Business Day response.
- Networking equipment must have ongoing vendor support, including firmware updates.
- Network switches must support gigabit networking.
- UPS devices are necessary for network switches, firewalls, routers, wireless access points, and phone systems.
- Servers should be connected to an Online UPS, with UPS monitoring enabled.
- UPS units must undergo annual testing, with batteries replaced every 2-3 years.
- Replacement of UPS devices should occur every 5-10 years, based on performance and warranty.
- Printers/copiers must have an active support agreement or support from a partner for Multi-Function Printers.
- While we do not directly offer hardware support for printers, we will collaborate with your managed printer provider or a reputable printer technician to resolve hardware issues.
- Must have an Operating System that is under support by vendor
- Managed patching is only available for Microsoft or Apple Operating Systems
