We’re looking for a full-time Level 3 Support Engineer to join our Sydney CBD office. This senior-level position is ideal for someone with proven technical depth who’s also comfortable guiding others and engaging directly with clients.

You’ll act as the primary escalation point for infrastructure, networking and systems issues, while also leading client-facing projects and mentoring junior staff. The environment is fast-paced and varied, offering exposure to a range of enterprise technologies and vendor platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 3 support across cloud, infrastructure and systems
  • Owning escalation tickets from the service desk (networking, security, systems)
  • Leading cloud and on-prem projects including Azure and Microsoft 365 deployments
  • Scoping solutions and providing pre-sales support with vendors
  • Supporting junior engineers with day-to-day mentoring and technical guidance
  • Managing and improving internal and client-side infrastructure environments
  • Championing vendor platforms (e.g. Microsoft, N-able, SentinelOne, PRTG)
  • Maintaining technical documentation and improving SOPs
  • Conducting cybersecurity benchmarking (Essential Eight, NIST, Microsoft Secure Score)
  • Supporting virtualised environments (Hyper-V, VMware, Windows Server)
  • Writing scripts (PowerShell and/or Python) to automate and streamline operations
  • Troubleshooting across web infrastructure (Windows, Linux, ColdFusion, PHP, IIS, NGINX)

To qualify, you’ll need:

  • A TAFE or university degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ Microsoft certifications
  • 3+ years experience in a technical MSP or IT services role
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, with a valid Australian driver’s license

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10/11
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid deployments (IaaS, PaaS, Office, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint)
  • Deep understanding of network and security tools (firewalls, VPNs, switching, PRTG, SentinelOne)
  • Confidence in virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware) and scripting (PowerShell or Python)

We’re looking for a full-time Level 2 Support Engineer to join our Sydney CBD office. This position is ideal for someone with solid technical skills who’s eager to build on their expertise, contribute to projects, and provide excellent client-facing support in a fast-paced MSP environment.

You’ll be a crucial part of the service desk, assist with infrastructure and cloud projects, and work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes. The role offers exposure to a variety of enterprise technologies and vendor platforms while giving you the chance to grow toward more senior responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 2 support across cloud, infrastructure, and systems
  • Handling escalation tickets from the service desk (networking, security, systems)
  • Assisting with cloud and on-prem projects including Microsoft 365 and Azure deployments
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 implementations (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, migrations)
  • Contributing to cybersecurity initiatives (EDR/MDR/XDR, Essential Eight, Microsoft Secure Score)

The Role

As our Service Delivery Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our service operations run seamlessly and clients receive outstanding support every time. You’ll be the driving force behind organising workflows, coordinating team efforts, and upholding our high standards for communication, documentation, and service excellence. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll follow established processes, manage schedules with precision, and ensure every client touchpoint reflects FOIT’s commitment to quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Triage and manage incoming service tickets, ensuring timely prioritisation and escalation
  • Monitor incident and problem trends to identify recurring issues and drive preventative actions
  • Coordinate daily workload for 5+ engineers, balancing priorities and skillsets
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors to maintain smooth service delivery
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of time entries and timesheets across the team in preparation for billing
  • Provide administrative support across operational functions
  • Assist with procurement – ordering, tracking and delivering hardware, software, and services
  • Champion team culture by organising internal events and team-building initiatives

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar IT service environment or coordination role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data handling and documentation
  • Hands on experience with ticketing or service management systems
  • Proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team
  • Clear and confident communication skills for engaging with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
